Our tours are different - by travelling with us you will have the opportunity to meet your fellow travelers in our pre-tour meeting. After the tour we continue our friendship with regular get together dinners.
This Christmas tour is renowned for the sophistication and variety of cultural delights. Some on the many highlights you will experience are:
- In Prague you will enjoy opera at the 124 year old Prague State Opera (program TBA) and “Wow” Black Light Theatre. Two days of sightseeing including a cruise on Vltava while sipping mulled wine.
- In Dresden we spend half day sighting the historical town.
- In the medieval city of Meissen (26km from Dresden), we visit the iconic Meissen porcelain factory that started in 1710. The oldest porcelain factory in Europe.
- In Berlin experience one of Europe’s most interesting cities on a grand tour. We visit the Berlin Wall, Brandenburg Gate, Check Point Charlie, Reichstag and more. The following day we visit Potsdam where the famous meeting of Stalin, Churchill and Truman took place in 1945 where the fate of Europe was decided. We also visit Sanssouci, the former summer palace of Frederick the Great, King of Prussia.
- Welcome the New Year at our Crown Plaza hotel in Berlin with a lavish gala buffet dinner with drinks included.
- In Krakow enjoy a concert of Poland’s greatest composer – Frydryk Chopin
- In Bratislava see the 9 century Devin castle & Primate’s Palce
- In Vienna enjoy a Mozart & Strauss world class concert and visit the Schonbrunn Palace
Our tours are personalised and flexible. Our sightseeing tours start at 10 am, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the buffet breakfast each morning. You will have free days to visit galleries and enjoy the January sales!
