Our traditional summer tour to the world renowned
Health Spa Piestany, departs 4 June 2008. This is our 12th
year to the Slovakian Spa town located on the River Vah with a 200 year
old Spa tradition! You will be amazed to discover how you can combine
health with an exciting European holiday.
Tour begins with an Emirates flight to Vienna and then coach to Budapest. Here we have 4 nights at the luxury Hotel Thermal & Grand on the historical Margaret Island situated on the Danube River in the heart of the city. On arrival to the hotel you can unwind in the thermal pool and later on revitalise with a spa treatment.
In Budapest we will discover the impressive Medieval,
Renaissance, Baroque and Art Nouveau architecture during our Grand City
Tour. See the 15th century Royal Castle, Fisherman’s Bastion, Mathias
Church, Parliament House, Hero’s square, the neo-gothic Market Hall
with a variety of the fresh produce & souvenirs. Enjoy the
countryside, the Baroque village of Szentendre, and the cruise on the
Danube and see the illuminated capital in all its glory!
Every night in Budapest we dine at one of the two restaurants at the
hotel offering a superb buffet dinner - one with a gypsy band and the
other featuring a harp player; both sure to please lovers of folklore.
Our next stop is Prague where we stay 3
nights at the 4 star Hotel K & K Fenix, located just a few
steps from Wenceslas Square, Prague’s most fashionable boulevard. We
enjoy a Grand Tour providing an excellent introduction to Prague’s many
historic sights and attractions, including the Astronomical clock, the
Old Town square, Charles bridge etc. You’ll find that Prague has no
rival in beauty. Enjoy dinner at the Prague’s first microbrewery, where
you can sample the delights of its own brand light and dark wheat beer.
Our last 14 days will be at the Health Spa Piestany, an
authentic health resort with thermal mineral springs and mud! Here, we
are staying on a picturesque spa island close to the pedestrian part of
the city. During our stay you will receive 3 meals daily, enjoy daily 4
spa treatments, sightseeing, walking, dancing, gypsy music and folklore
in an unmatched resort experience with everything within walking
distance! When we aren’t relaxing using the luxurious spa facilities
such as the pool with poolside bar service, we explore and shop in the
nearby town where settlement started thousands of years ago, visit the
markets, enjoy free outdoor concerts, play golf, or enjoy sightseeing
tours.
